Hey there!

I'm Anne. Years ago, when I was an emergency nurse, it felt like my mind was always in overdrive.

This didn’t ease up even after switching careers to work in public policy.

I was doing a lot of yoga at the time, so I knew meditation would help quieten my messy mind.

But...

  • Trying to shoosh my mind often made it more resistant and anxious, especially during difficult times.
  • There were a million ways to meditate, with different claims, which sent my mind further into a spin.

None-the-less I was determined to make meditation work for me.

For over 15 years I've explored a tonne of different  techniques and spiritual practices and spent an embarrassingly high amount of money (thousands and thousands of dollars) learning from different courses, teachers and approaches.

What I discovered

The breakthrough for me was the simplest breath-led practice I learned through yoga.

- Instead of trying to control my mind, I learnt how to change my relationship with it.

- I didn’t need apps, guided voices, or complicated techniques — just a really simple practice I could easily use daily.

That consistency built a kind of “mind muscle” that helped me stay steady through difficult life events..

Later, my yoga teacher training added a deeper layer of understanding.

And, because of my critical care nursing, I already understood the physiological effects of controlled breathing on the nervous system.

I need this. Count me in!

What you'll learn

In this course you’ll learn a simple structure for meditation that you can use anytime — without needing guided recordings or apps, including:

- a simple breath-led structure for meditation

- practical ways to work with a busy mind

-how to build a meditation practice you can continue independently

The real change comes from knowing how your mind works, and consistent practice.

Just five minutes a day is enough to begin. Over time, that small daily rhythm starts to shift your relationship with your mind.

Every Day Meditation

Learn time-tested, down-to-earth meditation techniques you can stick with. No apps, no overwhelm, just a clear path into daily practice.

Founders price only $27

Yes please!

Practise for 5-10 mins every day, you'll experience:

  • periods of blessed relief from an overactive and easily distracted mind
  • greater clarity in day to day situations
  • a steadier mind during stressful or chaotic times
  • a healthier relationship with your thoughts

A lot of people also notice they become more aware of their thoughts during the day, rather than being completely carried away by them.

Even when life is busy or challenging, a regular practice can bring a greater sense of steadiness throughout your day, not just during meditation.

What's included:

  • short video lessons explaining the key ideas and practices
  • clear guidance for building a consistent meditation habit
  • downloadable resources to support your ongoing practice
  • simple practices you can return to again and again
  • practical guidance for being comfortable in meditation
  • optional email support if you have questions about the practice

This course begins with the foundational practices I use myself.

I’ll continue adding modules as the course grows, and everyone who joins will have ongoing access to those updates at no additional cost.

The intention is to keep building something simple, practical and easy to return to again and again.

The experience behind this course

Over years I’ve invested thousands of dollars in meditation training, courses and study, alongside more than fifteen years of personal practice.

I am also an experienced and qualified critical care nurse who understands the physiological effects of the controlled breath on the nervous system.

This course distils what I learnt, alongside using this in the real world, into the key ideas and practices that actually helped me.

Instead of spending years and significant money exploring different approaches, you can begin with the simple structure that finally worked for me, in a way shorter time.

This is a tool to set you up to discover what will work for you.

The course has practical guidance, short video lessons and downloadable resources to support a consistent meditation practice.

I’ve kept the course accessible because I think everyone should be doing this (the world would be a better place) and I don't want price to be a barrier.

Why I teach this approach

I didn't hone my meditation practice on top of a mountain or in a luxury retreat.

It grew while life was happening around me.

I've always worked in demanding environments — from emergency departments, to remote nursing posts through to complex health, disability and energy policy work both here in Australia and internationally.

I’ve built much of my life independently, often living and travelling alone in remote places where a clear mind was vital.

Meditation also helped me through the hardest periods of my life including divorce and caring for a dying parent at home.

But it wasn’t easy. I had to figure parts of it out for myself, especially when meditation initially made my mind more chaotic than calm.

It’s not about relaxation or switching off. It’s about learning how to change the relationship we have with our minds.

 What this course is:

  • This is a self-paced course to help you become independent in your meditation practice.
  • The recordings provide structure at the beginning, but the goal isn’t to become reliant on guided meditation or apps.
  • You’ll learn how to be with your mind in a new way, creating space, calm, and deeper self-understanding.
  • This is a process of self discovery and self inquiry.
  • It’s about developing the ability to work with your mind, especially when life becomes challenging.

What this course isn't:

  • A quick fix or silver bullet for a quiet mind
  • A guided meditation you listen to forever
  • A replacement for therapy, counselling, or medical support
  • A promise that your thoughts will disappear
  • A course that works without regular practice
  • About achieving a “perfect” meditation experience
  • An escape from life’s challenges

Meditation doesn’t remove or bypass life’s challenges — it helps you meet them with a steadier mind.

This course is for people who:

  • want to develop a regular meditation practice
  • are willing to practise a few minutes each day
  • prefer a simple, practical approach
  • want to become independent meditators
  • are interested in meditation as a tool for self-discovery

You don’t need any prior experience.

This may not be the right fit if you:

  • want quick relaxation techniques
  • expect meditation to immediately quiet your mind
  • want guided meditations forever
  • are unwilling to practise regularly
  • expect instant results without building a habit

To get the benefits, you need consistent practice.

A quick note

The practices shared in this course are drawn from meditation and yoga traditions that support awareness and a steadier relationship with the mind.

They are not counselling or therapy, and they aren’t a substitute for professional mental health care.
